Hi to all bug lovers!
While sorting out my Brazilian bug pics. into their respective family folders
I came upon some I find very confusing, I would very much appreciate if someone can help me in finding out to what family they could belong
I have two somehow looking related to as well the spider family (eyes) as the Crab family because of the shape of the legs specially the front ones.
The first was shiny and looked like a little precious jewel in jade colours, size was about 5 mm and if I remember well it walked sideways like a Crab would do..
Comments welcome on this thread
Moths are fascinating mysterious winged creatures and I have enjoyed myself tremendously in taking tons of pictures, astonished at the endless variety, some really gorgeous, some looking so delicate like made from porcelain or Mother Pearl, there were 'creepy and gloomy' looking ones too, others very weird shaped etc..
Most or nearly all are taken at night.
I was fortunate to have had my stay in a small house of Brazilian friends that had an ideal location for attracting moths. The house is located in a protected nature area in Corisco close to Paraty. It is build on top of a steep hill and some 20m down at the foot lays the beautiful wild river.
