Background  of the philosophic community project:

(definition of PHILOSOPHIC in  Google search:
"phil·o·soph·i·cal  also phil·o·soph·ic, adj.)
1. Of, relating to, or based on a system of philosophy.
2. Characteristic of a philosopher, as in equanimity, enlightenment, and wisdom.)

If an enlightened being exists, is because clarity exists.
Can a non-enlightened being be clear?

For me, the answer is positive. We must depart from that which is in itself evident and clear to us and to the other, and proceed from there to the more complex, the more difficult.

This project of a Philosophic community initiated out of the love for truth where the self love
must be based in humility and sincerity, and not in wanting to fool others, or in arrogance.

And we can call this project spiritual only when it so be.And we can call this a project of meditation, spiritual self awareness, relational therapy, or even of a fair trial, only when it so be.

Humanity must learn to solve its own conflicts, not in a stupid, unjust and violent way but in a fair, friendly, intelligent way.

To face the reality we humanly create is inevitable: The world of competition in the place of that of collaboration. The world of false appearances in the place of a world of justice.
The world of subjugation to material interests above social justice, liberty, equality, brotherhood.

This project of a philosophical community project, bases itself in an open dialogue or discussion where,
if we are honest, the cause of the most desperate and hopeless relational conflicts reveal themselves to our consciousness and are healed.

In a philosophical open discussion, as in a close relationship, no more is asked more than sincerity and good will.
In the truly spiritual, truly religious sense, where 'God is love' and 'love is God', the only 'sin' is dishonesty in love: (to place the image, usually the personal image, above the essence, clarity and truth.

The passive illusion, which is in fact the active deceit of the ego, places oneself, or one's own interests, above justice and love, in the relationship with someone else.
Where people contradict themselves and do not want to straighten up, out of pride, shyness or shame, which in the end is the same thing, where there is no good will or sincerity, no true relationship, no philosophical community is possible.

THE PHILOSOPHIC COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Art can take any direction, today, even that of alienating man from himself, from his own kind and from Nature, collaborating thus with the psychic degeneration, social chaos and the destruction of Nature the Earth is suffering from. In spite of the efforts of some, like Green Peace and  Al Gore, for example, it is unnecessary to say that still too little has been done in this part of Europe to re-establish the ecological balance and revert the effects of pollution global warming caused by the uncontrolled human colonization of the planet.

A  MUSEUM OF ARTS FOR NATURE should promote love for nature, and more explicitly, the sensibility for the beauty of Nature and of the soul, the love-consciousness or inner truth.
The vulgarity of the taste of music, for example, of the masses today, and the World wide egoistic commercial interests at the cost of the Milieu and World peace,  is a sign that humanity is still very poor spiritually, and it has to awake this quality of consciousness  before destroying itself and the Earth it inhabits.

The creation of such a "school" of Art  could be a great blessing and in conformity with the historical role of  the Arts: a legacy for all people and for all time, that could help develop man's ability to see the treasures of nature, from the beauty of a leaf with dewdrops at our feet to the infinite sky, and feel one with it.

"A few words about van Chapman and her work:
Art critic Gianni Franceschetti  (Burkhardt Academy, Rome:1 May 1992, Rome.)

Mysticwater

‘Meditation is the contemplation of our inner self.
The awareness of the distinction between the true, natural self and our ego, created by false thoughts.'

So as the contemplation of a river of clear waters flowing down the mountains between stones in the light of the sun,
spiritual-self awareness  dissolves our darkness and confusion,
filling our eyes and hearts with endless wonder and joy.'

As the glorious beauty of nature so is inner truth,
in the expression of everyone’s eyes, everyone’s heart.'

Prejudged art dealers

Felt a suspicious look from the gallerist as I entered his gallery for the first time.
But even so I came in, telling him I had an atelier in Gent and handled him a card with my web address, in case he would like to see our art.
He told me impatiently he would not look at the website because he was interested in art.
Not in decoration. That sounded like Jan Hoet. It  is similar to  someone from the pop repertoire judging that one knows nothing about music, if one does not know the groups who played the music in his discotheque.

I was curious to hear what he meant as art and I told him so. Told him that was not my painting on the photo and asked him if he would look and give a critic of a work of mine I had on the bicycle outside in a roll. He said no. He was not interested.
So he asked me if I saw the works in his gallery. He asked me if I knew the name of the artists of each of his art works. That was not how I see what is art.
Then I said good bye and told him that in truth he was not interested in art but in names.

The reproduction on the card I gave to the first of them had a painting of leaves in the autumn by Myriam. Vandenberghe. Myriam is an exceptional someone who really cares for the well being and not to do harm any living being.
Her art, for those who have eyes to see, is the most deeply touching and most eloquent expression of this extraordinary sensitivity and spiritual power.
To read anything as superficial as merely decorative about this deeply moving and authentic care of all creatures, love of beauty and poetic genius of hers is to be completely spiritually blind, that is, to be presumptuous, arrogant and utterly insensitive.

The next gallery I went in was to collect some paintings of mine that were in depot.
There was another person there I did not know, and he also looked at me suspicious as I came in asking for my paintings.
After a phone call to the art dealer I had to do with, he gave me my works and I signed note about it.
I mentioned to him what the reaction was of the previous art dealer, his neighbour.
He also asked me the names of the artists of the works in his Gallery.
How can I know anything about art if I do not know what is the name of the artist in his gallery????
And said artists become famous (not because they are good artists? ) but because of the galleries.
He advised me I should have a gallery of my own.

'I also have to earn my living...' he said, helping me with the paintings to the street and blinking to me said: '-Good luck with your art. '
He did not want to see the painting I had in the bicycle.
He said he would not promise me to look at my website.
